  • Canada Research Chair in Enterprise Social Media & Digital Collaboration
  • Director of GReSI

I am delighted to serve as Director of GReSI (Groupe de recherche en systèmes d’information), the largest research group in Information Systems in Canada.

In this role, my mission is twofold: to foster dialogue and collaboration among Information Systems researchers across institutions, and to strengthen the vital connections between academia and industry. GReSI serves as a space of convergence, where diverse expertise comes together to generate new insights and advance knowledge.

At a time when organizations and society are navigating profound transformations driven by digital technologies — including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, and the evolving nature of work — these exchanges are more important than ever. Understanding these transformations, anticipating their implications, and supporting their implementation represent critical challenges for both research and practice.

In this context, GReSI plays a key role in advancing knowledge through rigorous, methodologically grounded research that remains closely connected to real-world applications. We are equally committed to training the next generation of researchers, equipping them to thrive in complex and rapidly evolving environments.

My ambition is to ensure that GReSI continues to be a vibrant, open, and impactful community, where scientific rigor and practical relevance come together to inform decision-making, support innovation, and address the defining challenges of our digital era.
